Cedar Apple Rust

Heteroecious fungal disease cycling between Eastern Red Cedar and apple trees. Symptoms: orange leaf spots, premature defoliation, fruit deformation. Treatment: fungicides (myclobutanil), remove nearby cedars, plant resistant varieties. Prevention: sanitation, good air circulation.
