Cashew tree (Anacardium occidentale): Tropical evergreen 10-12m, Anacardiaceae family. Yields cashew nut (true fruit) and cashew apple (pseudofruit). Prefers hot humid climate, full sun, well-drained soil. Not frost-hardy. Widely cultivated in tropics.
