Common Fig (Ficus carica) is a deciduous fruit tree with lobed leaves and sweet fruit. Thick trunk, textured bark, good for bonsai. Prefers sun, well-drained soil. Propagates by seed, cuttings. Common disease: Fig mosaic virus.
