Cockspur Hawthorn (Crataegus crus-galli): Small North American tree with long thorns, white spring flowers, red autumn fruits. Rosaceae family. Very cold-hardy, sun-loving, easy care. Good for bonsai (trainable, flowers/fruits). Zones 4-8.
