Syrian Rhubarb

Syrian Rhubarb (Rheum ribes) is a perennial herbaceous plant wild-growing in high mountains of Western Asia. Large rhizome, kidney-shaped leaves. Used in traditional medicine, rich in oxalic acid, contraindicated for kidney patients. Thrives on well-draining limestone soil.
