Japanese Umbrella Pine

Sciadopitys verticillata, the Japanese Umbrella Pine, is a unique conifer with umbrella-like whorled needles. Slow-growing, prefers cool, humid climates. Excellent for bonsai, needs partial shade, well-draining soil. Susceptible to root rot if overwatered.
