Fern Scale

Fern scale is a round, flat scale insect on fern stems/leaves, sucking sap causing yellowing and wilting. Excretes honeydew attracting ants and sooty mold. Hard to spot due to camouflage. Control via mechanical removal, insecticidal soap, neem oil.
