Pine Wilt Disease: nematode Bursaphelenchus xylophilus transmitted by Monochamus beetles. Kills trees in weeks. Symptoms: top-down wilting, yellow needles, reduced resin, blue wood stain. Favors heat, drought. Prevention: vector control, resistant varieties.
