Gardenia thunbergia: South African evergreen shrub, fragrant white flowers, glossy leaves. Excellent bonsai. Needs acidic soil (pH 5-6), high humidity, bright light. Container growing needs acid fertilizer. Prone to scale, spider mites, mealybugs.
