Logwood (Haematoxylum campechianum): tropical legume, thorny stems, pinnate leaves, yellow flowers. Red heartwood for dyes. High drought tolerance, frost intolerant. Suitable for Moyogi, Hokidachi bonsai styles. Intermediate difficulty, requires fast-draining substrate.
