Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata) is a large evergreen native to Pacific Northwest. Fan-shaped dark green foliage with white V-marks beneath. Fibrous reddish-brown bark. Fast-growing, prefers moisture, tolerates shade. Suitable for multiple bonsai styles.
