Cyclamen Mite

Cyclamen mite (Steneotarsonemus pallidus) is a sap-sucking arachnid causing severe damage in cool humid conditions (<20°C). Hides in buds causing leaf curling and flower distortion. Hard to detect visually. Control by removing affected parts, hot water treatment 43-45°C, miticide, or neem oil. Regular inspection of new buds is critical.
