Subalpine Fir

Subalpine Fir is a high-altitude North American conifer. Narrow conical crown, silvery-blue flat needles, smooth bark. Extremely cold hardy (zones 2-6). Good bonsai candidate, slow growth. Requires acidic soil, cool moist conditions. Watch for root rot and needle diseases.
