Shantung Maple

Acer truncatum (Shantung Maple) is a deciduous maple native to East Asia with 5-lobed truncate-tipped leaves. Spring purple, summer green, autumn yellow-orange-red. Cold hardy to -15°C. Good bonsai subject (easy wiring/pruning). Needs full sun, well-draining soil. Grows in zones 4-8.
