Sacred Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera): Perennial aquatic, round water-repellent leaves, fragrant pink/white flowers. Planted by rhizomes in mud, 30-100cm water depth. Sun-loving, heat-tolerant, frost-sensitive. National flower of Vietnam.
