American Dwarf Ginseng (Panax trifolius): tiny herb 10-20cm, 3-part palmate leaves, spherical white flowers. Edible tuberous root. Native to moist, shaded North American woodlands. Requires humus-rich moist soil, full shade. Intolerant of sun and dry soil. A rare native species.
