Black Cherry

Large deciduous tree (Prunus serotina) with valuable timber, fragrant white flowers, dark fruit. Full sun, moist well-drained soil. Intermediate bonsai difficulty. Leaves/seeds/bark contain cyanogenic glycosides, highly toxic. Cold hardy, zones 3b-9.
