Shishigashira Maple

Shishigashira Maple (Acer palmatum 'Shishigashira'): Slow-growing Japanese maple with densely curled, lion's mane-like foliage. Excellent bonsai subject. Requires well-draining soil (Akadama), consistent moisture, protection from harsh sun. Autumn gold-orange foliage. Susceptible to leaf scorch and aphids.
